Last Broiler Slaughter Day!

Today was the last official broiler slaughter day of the year!!! The broiler season couldn't have gone any better! Thanks to all who purchased birds and to those who helped support us through this endeavor.

To give you an idea of how it all works...

We plan to do it all again next year :)

Lamb

Although we have no lamb to sell this year, we will (hopefully!) have plenty in the Fall of 2015. Our sheep have proven to be some of the best eaters. They are even less picky than the goats and are experts at finding good forage.

Our sheep are 'hair sheep', meaning they grow extra fur for winter and shed the fur on their own in the spring. They do not require shearing.
